HOW’S YOUR FINANCIAL CONFIDENCE?

Less than half of Americans feel confident in their financial decisions.

According to a recent survey by NerdWallet, many people do not feel they have the ability to make good financial decisions. Confidence appears to increase with age, income, and education. For instance, only 37% of Americans with a high-school diploma felt confident in their decision making while 58% of college graduates reported feeling confident.

  Confidence in financial decision-making:

  • 47% of all Americans
  • 30% of Gen Z (ages 18-27)
  • 39% of Millenials (ages 28-43)
  • 47% of Gen X (ages 44-59)
  • 62% of Baby boomers (ages 60-78)
