Sheila Connolly has always enjoyed helping people. Since most people are so busy raising families and just getting from one day to the next, most people don't do enough planning for future needs. Sheila has made it her mission to help her clients organize and plan to have what they need in retirement. Prior to working in the financial industry, Sheila was in education for 30 years, beginning as a Science teacher, then Principal at Gross Pointe Academy, working with children, parents, teachers, and board of trustees. Working with people of all ages, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds has provided Sheila with great perspective on families and their lives.
In 1998, after her husband’s death, Sheila took over his business: Murray Financial Services, Inc. and then joined M3 Investment Services in 2005. Sheila holds FINRA Series 7, 65 and 63 registrations and is a member of the NTSA (National Tax-Deferred Savings Association).
Sheila takes great pleasure working with the Kiwanis organization, and their signature project, Books for Kids, which distributes 100,000+ books each year to schools, churches, and communities throughout Metro Detroit. She also works closely with Miracle Network for Children, Forgotten Harvest, Habitat for Humanity, and Salvation Army, and Marquette Elementary School to start the Kids Reading to Kids Program. Away from the office, Sheila enjoys swimming, biking, gardening, and especially spending time kayaking or fishing with her grandchildren.
