Robert has been in the financial services industry since 2005 when he joined M3 Investment Services. Mr. Bernhardt has made it his mission to stay informed of changes to employee benefit plans and investment products, to find new investment opportunities for participants, and to keep current on financial issues that affect the specific needs of Michigan educators. Robert chose a career in the financial industry because of his interest in listening to clients, helping them pursue their goals, and hearing their success stories. He has a passion for cultivating relationships with Michigan school employees and their administrators.
Robert is a Certified Retirement Counselor® and holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations and a Life and Health Insurance license. In addition to being a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, he holds memberships to the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel (MARSP) and the National Tax-Deferred Savings Association (NTSA) where he serves on the Membership Development Committee. He has a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University.
Originally from Troy, Michigan, Mr. Bernhardt graduated from Troy Athens high school. In his spare time, Robert enjoys playing golf, camping, traveling, and serving as Boy Scout Scoutmaster to Troop 210 in Sterling Heights. Robert also enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
